- Are you scanning photos or transparencies?
- Are the documents single sided (simplex) or double sided (duplex)?
- What is the average volume of scanning per day / per week / per month?
- Is all the scanning to be done at a single location or is it in different departments / different floors / different parts of the office?
- Are there any bound documents or reports to be scanned?
- Do you need a flatbed? Some scanners are both flatbed and have a automatic document feeder (ADF).
- Do you want to do colour scanning?
- Any special requirements like odd paper size, mixed sizes, paper type, time windows (scanning to be completed by 9.30am).
